I would cast into the edge of submerged vegetation which was 15-18 feet. Right at the break of where the vegetation stopped is where I dragged the ned rig out of the vegetation and got the strike.

I tried everything; jig, crank bait, drop shot- nothing. I switched to a smaller ZMan TRD and caught this one on the first cast. I tie a 5-6ft leader of Seaguar fluorocarbon attached it with an “Alberto” knot to the Suffix braided line.
