The first fish of the day was a 3.5lb ping on a popper near the docks. The best locations seemed to be wherever docks and lilypads were near each other. Topwater seemed pretty popular first thing, we had a number of fish on poppers early in the morning. As it got warmer and the sun came out the wacky rig/stick bait came into play around docks with pads.

Pulled a 2.92 out from under a willow tree by a dock in 2-3ft water. Fantastic clear water at 85-87 degrees.
