Flipping a craw tube right up into the reeds and pulling it down into the milfoil seemed to make the bass go crazy. Caught upwards of 40 high 2 pounders with a mix of 3 and 4 pounders in there. 1/2 ounce tungsten seemed to be better then any other weight I could’ve tried as well.
