I was using a Neko rig, from the shore, in the shallows and caught a bass! My retrieve was casting it out, letting it sink, giving it some hops, and then letting it sink again. I was fishing an area with some big rocks, and some logs/sticks. Using a weedless Neko hook would be a good idea around the logs and sticks.

Water temps ranged from 72-77, had a 10 mph south wind throughout the day. Fish were on riprap in 2-5' of water. Caught all fish with a Owner Flashy Swimmer (1/8 oz, silver willow blade) with a 3.5" Yamamoto Swim Senko in Chartreuse/White. Nothing huge on the bass side, all were about 3/4 lbers, got a nice bonus walleye that was about 16".
