Find the reeds in deeper water (5ft or more) and just pitch right outside of it and the largemouth will come pick it up. For the smallmouth bass, find the rock flats and pitch onto or off the edge of it.

The most important word on Pokegama: Smelt. Don't let the perch chasing up your baits up fool you. The name of the game has and always will be smelt on Pokegama. Drop shot? Put a smelt colored swim bait on it. Jig head? Do the same. Target rocks and high spots on flats near steep drops for the most success. Mix in a few craw imitators (they do mix in craws on certain stretches from time to time) for good measure and you're set for the late season feedbag on the ol' Keg.
