TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonFallStructureBaitfishThe most important word on Pokegama: Smelt. Don't let the perch chasing up your baits up fool you. The name of the game has and always will be smelt on Pokegama. Drop shot? Put a smelt colored swim bait on it. Jig head? Do the same. Target rocks and high spots on flats near steep drops for the most success. Mix in a few craw imitators (they do mix in craws on certain stretches from time to time) for good measure and you're set for the late season feedbag on the ol' Keg.
