Largemouth BassTechniqueHard JerkbaitsSeasonWinterStructureBouldersYou can mix it up at pommee right now both the jerkbait and the arig are working well. The fish tend to setup shallower on pomee than most lakes so I would look aby deeper than 15 ft or so. If you wanna throw a jerk bait throw it up to the bank and work it back slowly to the boat. The mainlake is the best this time of year I wouldn't get to far away from the damn area.

Largemouth BassTechniqueFinesse JigsSeasonWinterStructureRiver ChannelsIts been fun on pom de terre everything has been working but a motion fishing mo craw finesse jig has been my best bite. Starting to catch a few on the a rig, they are fairly shallow still and can also be caught with a spinnerbait. A wiggle wart and a rock crawler will get you lots on numbers of fish with a nice one here and there. Best bite has been on the main lake channel banks or back in the creeks on the secondaries. Jerk baits are also working back in the creeks.

Largemouth BassTechniqueBuzzbaitsSeasonWinterStructureShadTook a fishing trip with my wife to Pomme De Terre and it was a beautiful fall day with a light breeze. We caught a bunch of topwater fish on a Motion Fishing Buzzbait and she was throwing a Berkley Choppo 110 in black. We probably caught around 15 solid fish over 2lbs. We were finding the fish on flat banks with wind, most of the place we found wads of fish were in small coves or pockets that had shad present. We did most of our fishing down the Lindley Arm of the lake. We covered a lot of water and that’s what it takes to find fish in the fall. We would go 30 min without a bite then catch 5 in 5 minutes. Bottom baits is one thing I could not get to work, it seemed like the fish were looking up and feeding heavy. I left some lure suggestions off the Omnia site yall might try if you’re coming to the lake soon. 👍
