The backwaters of Pool 2 are heating up! When I launched late morning I saw 49 degree temps where there was current but 53 degree temps in shallow areas out of the current. When I left in the evening those shallow areas were 60 degrees! Caught some chunky green ones in 1-3fow near wood or laydowns. Half of them came on a Picasso Swim jig and the other half on a Booyah Covert Spinnerbait.

Looks for natural & man made rocky shore line areas mixed with gravel. Cover water with squarebill crankbaits in Late April and Early May looking for staging smallies. Once you find them, slow down and drag green pumpkin tubes for extra fish.
