Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonFallStructureLaydownsTossing around laydowns in around 2 to 4 fow was working very well. Boat position was important. Once you caught one, you could find a lot more schooled up. Slowing down and flipping a jig or craw style plastic also worked well.

Smallmouth BassTechniqueHard Topwater (Walking)SeasonFallStructureRiver ChannelsI caught a decent amount of small mouth focusing on current breaks just off the main river, depth didn't seem to play too much of a factor. If you were able to find good current breaks that had shad present, walking a spook in the slack part of the break was a good way to get bites. I would also rotate in a shad colored jerkbait and a ned rig when they were not committing to spook after catching a few.

Largemouth BassTechniqueHard Topwater (Walking)SeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationLooking for sparse eelgrass that had larger-sized balls of shad in them was the key to finding the bigger largemouth and smallmouth. Making LONG casts with the big Shower Blow was key, as the water was very clear. By using the 40 lb Smackdown Braid you can make long casts and get a solid hook up on the bass.

Largemouth BassTechniqueHard Topwater (Walking)SeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationWalking a hard top water around shallow flats 2 ft and less. Produced a lot of good bites and nice largemouth. Wingdams or rock ledges held a lot of decent smallmouth as well.

Smallmouth BassTechniqueHard Topwater (Walking)SeasonFallStructureLedgesFind large rock shelfs with steep ledges. ⁹Work a walking top water slow. Pausing regularly work well to create a bite. If top water isnt working texas riged beaver or a finesse jig on the ledges worked well.
