Trying a new lake, this was on 6/10/3023. Light wind increasing. Cool front coming through later in the day. We fished from about 645 to Noon. Mostly sunny, temps in the 70s to low 80s. Tried shallow early and caught some small fish on a pop-r. Tried frogging in the slop a bit with no luck. The tried docks as it got brighter out and had some luck. Caught some small and medium small fish. But had the most luck by far with a drop shot on the outside weedline in abouy 13 to 14ish feet of water. Caught a bunch of small and medium fish up to about 16 inches and one larger jig fish out on the weedline as well. Overall a great first outing on a new lake. Water was quite clear could see down 8 to 10 feet.
