Doing the same at each point of the various islands nets some of the BIGGER bass in the lake. Wacky rigged Senkos and Texas Rig worms along the sides of the islands has yield several fish 3 pounds and up this season. The water is normally very clear, so natural colors work best, but be ready with dark or chartreuse if it rains the day before.

Caught several bass on a stupid tube setup when NOTHING else was working on a mid-October day. Dipped the tail in chart juice and fished around points. Once I started, I ended the skunk and caught 5 more over an hour. Skipped under overhangs as well, pop popped it back to the boat.
