TechniqueShakey HeadsSeasonSummerStructureBrush PilesLook for brush piles on main lake points. Position the boat with the nose in to the wind and scan the brush piles using your FFS to locate the bass. Position the boat a little less that a full cast from the brush piles using as you will want to cast past it and bring your bait to the brush. Once you make contact with the brush, work your bait nice and slow. Alternate between the shakey head and a Texas rig. Most brush will give up about 3 fish before you need to move. Don’t forget to check back on the brush you catch your fish on to get a good rotation as they will load back up.
