Inside weedlines were the ticket. Caught them on a pretty even mix between a frog, swim jig, and wacky rig.

Lake has a lot of interesting deep rock and shallow cover options. Early July, morning Plopper bite around shallow grass. Once the sun was up, docks, grass & wood with Frogs and Jigs was the key. If you could find a little incoming water, that was extra juicy!

Crappies were hitting the Clam Pinhead pro tipped with a minnow head. The St.Croix ML Custom Ice rod paired perfectly with the PinHead. Find a good transition and set up camp or hole hop until you find a school willing to bite. Fish were finicky. Lots of 9-11 inchers.

Been getting into some decent bluegills (6-9 inches) and crappies (7-11 inches) out in the basin at various depths. A 4 or 5mm jig tipped with waxworms or spikes has gotten the most bites in all parts of the water column.
