TechniqueHard Topwater (Prop)SeasonSummerStructureRiver ChannelsFishing the Rum River with whopper plopper. I look for shaded area along with cut off current. TechniqueNed RigsSeasonFallStructureLaydownsFish were holding tight to cover on lay downs . Ned rig worked well to pitch up near them to get bites. The biggest fish came when the lay downs were met with rocky or rip rap shoreline. If you manage to not get hung up in the lay down there will be fish there.
