Chill, cool day with moderate-low water flow. I caught a few smallie dinks with a ned rig setup. Wife was a bit more adventurous and threw some 4" paddle tails that was quite enticing for the river pikes! Along our paddling, I did notice quite a few pikes swimming along closer to the shallows, often away from the faster-moving current.

Put in at the fair grounds. Smallies were bitting. Biggest was 4lb multiple 3’s and plenty of 13-16”ers. Eddies, lay downs and rip rap. The river showed out🤘🏼
