Wife was a bit more adventurous and threw some 4" paddle tails that was quite enticing for the river pikes! Along our paddling, I did notice quite a few pikes swimming along closer to the shallows, often away from the faster-moving current.

Started throwing the Ned rig and caught a few smaller fish.switched to the Ned bug and started immediately catching nicer quality bass. Can’t be afraid to cast super tight to cover.
