Early morning outing. In the water by 6am. Outside temperature was around 98° and humid. Water temperature was 86.9° Fishes from 6am until about 2:30pm. Had no luck jigging in deep water, but did land 4 fish in shallow water all 4 were at the peaks of different points of flooded brush/grass. All four were also caught prior to 11:30am on a texas rigged YUM Dinger fished with slow twitching movements.

Went out at 6:30am. Not my much action in the water. First cast of my top water dog onto the bank and through some grass I had a hit but was unable to set the hook. Not a single bite for the remaining four hours after that.
