Amazing day! Caught them on top water all day with our first fish coming on the Manns Baby Minus 1, otherwise all fish were caught on top water with the Pop-R, frog, and a chug bug in black/chrome. We had over 26 lbs as a team and placed 1st and 3rd individually in a 3-fish tournament. Our team weight was with 6 fish. The top waters you would give it a couple of twitches and then let it sit and they were choking it. Every fish had the bait way in the back of their throat. Find deep water near shallow with standing timber and hydrilla and you will find the post spawn fish in 1'-4' of water.

Started the BFL with a 2 hour fog delay. Tried to hunt them shallow, got a few with the carolina rig along some grass lines. Moved over to some submerged grass in about 10 foot of water and caught a few more with a combination of carolina rig with flukes and a Texas rigged big worm.
