Moved out to 10 fow with submerged vegetation and found some bigger bass schooled up. They couldn't resist the chatter bait and the Yamamoto fat ika on the drop shot!

I did some pre fishing work, looking at Navionics and seeing a few obvious points. I was surprised to see that everyone blew past the first initial point right as you come out of the channel heading into the main lake. Its a sand bar that drops to about 18 ft. Dragging a shaky head produced the biggest bites, but I was also able to catch fish on a drop shot with a wacky rig. I did run around with a jig flipping docks, and a buzz bait for in-between them. Caught plenty of fish here as well. Baitfuel was a key player as well. Although initially I would assume it was gimmicky, I did get more numbers, and more definitive bites, when applied! Its a fun lake plenty of fish to be caught. I had in the mid 14 lb range and got 4th. Winning bag was just shy of 18lbs.
