Largemouth Bass
TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureStumpsThrow in 10 to 20 feet of water around trees without a weight. Twitch as it floats down and let drop a couple of feet between twitches. Watch your line because you let it free float down and they usually hit on the drop. The watermelon flake is also a good color.

Largemouth Bass
TechniqueMedium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12')SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructurePointsToby Tubby: We moved from the creek into deeper water towards the main lake. Some decent bass holding on creek mouth edges with single-blade spinnerbaits around any cover. Secondary points towards man lake off of access roads from the Corps land showed a few fish holding in about 7 feet of water. The old duck ponds produced a few bites with worms and shallow crankbaits on the dropoffs over the old levees, from 4-9 feet.
