Had 4 blow-ups on the scum frog in the bluegill pattern. Later on in the day, ended up going to flip mats after the sun became higher and put my St. Croix Victory rod to work.

Fishing the shoreline near underwater points. Walk the dog slowly. A popper will work too. The largies would come from under the dock and unload on the popper or walking bait.

Worked a 5xd along the weed edges with a pause every few handle turns. Caught several largemouth and a few smallmouth.

The secret was finding the eel, coontail, and milfoil mix to catch these fish. The spike it really helped just hardly dipping the claws of the bait! Made a big difference

With the grass just being sprayed the other day to kill the milfoil/ eel grass mixture these fish love to live in, I had to figure out what structure they were going to gravitate to. I saw a bunch of alewives swimming around and immediately thought dock fishing! I couldn't get one fish to touch the jig under the pontoons, but this Raid Magnum 2 Way did the job! Didn't lose one bait to the incredible screw lock on the Core Tackle! I highly recommend everyone tries out the 2 WAY!!!
