TechniqueSwim JigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged Vegetation6/19 had my best day Fishing Silver lake all season so far. The bass were hammering plastic swim baits (Paddletails) on a jig, and drop shot plastic worms. Drifted with the wind anywhere between 4-15 feet. Lots of weeds out there right now. Had to clean my line almost every cast.

TechniqueNed RigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationFished Saturday Morning 5/15, 5am to 10am. Caught 20 bass with a small 14" average. I should have moved to find the big girls but my catch to cast ratio was so high I did not want to leave the bite. Fished 5-7' of water using wacky rigged senko and Ned Rig. The Ned rig was my go to for the day.

TechniqueSoft Body Swimbaits (Small/Medium)SeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationFish the swimbaits on a lightweight jig head and swim it just over top of submergent vegetation. Find some that is starting to green up and you will find the bass. 5-8' of water is where they are.
