Bite has been tough the past few weeks. Water Temps fell below 70 deg starting this past weekend and now the bite is getting better. Megabass jerkbaits have been the hot bait this week. St. Croix 6 foot 10 inch med fast tip is my favorite rod for throwing jerkbaits. Paired with the Daiwa Zillion it's a very nice combo.

Nice smallmouth for this lake. Caught on a drop shot using Xzone deception worm. Bass love these worms. St. Croix Legend tournament spinning rod paired with a Shimano vanford 2500 reel is a sweet setup and is one of my favorite rigs for finesse fishing. Great balance and sensitivity.
