Largemouth Bass
TechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSummerStructureDamBeat the water from 4:00-6:00pm with swim jigs, frogs and topwater baits to no avail. Switched to a wacky rig presentation and nailed 9 in the final 2 hours of fishing 6-8 pm. Pond seems to have changed in that all my "go to" spots are dead this year and everywhere that never produced are the hotspots this year.

Largemouth Bass
TechniqueSpinnerbaitsSeasonSummerStructureLaydownsFished around 9pm to midnight on the new moon. Saw and heard a lot of fish breaking the surface. I think they were mostly bluegills and perch feeding on insects. I only got one bass on a topwater. The bite was generally slow as only 3 fish were hooked and only 2 landed. The biggest was 20" long.
