Largemouth BassTechniqueLipless CrankbaitsSeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationI was cycling through the guts of pockets and flats that had grass beginning to grow in them. I was also cycling through baits and caught a couple on a firecraw jackhammer. If there was grass growing in the pocket, I could catch at least a few fish. I was bottom hopping my LV-500, and the fish were smashing it. I caught many fish in the 2.5-3.5 pound range with one 5 pound kicker. The best spot I found was a grass flat with a gravel bar in the middle of it on the eastern side of the lake, this is where i caught my kicker and a large portion of my better quality fish.

Largemouth BassTechniqueSoft Body Swimbaits (Large)SeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureRip RapFished for a few hours Tuesday evening. Caught 2 and lost a big one all on the magdraft. Tried flipping a jig and throwing a glide bait but couldnt get any bites. The 3 bites I got were all main lake rock. I tried 2 different pockets with wood and just didnt get anything but most reports locally are saying they are catching them there.
