If you are visiting the Sleeping Bear Dunes area, South Bar Lake is a great spot for some shore fishing. It was too windy for a Ned Rig or Senko, but I had no problem casting the Cover Scat into the wind. Caught a number of Largemouth, the biggest being 18.5 inches.
