CrappieTechniqueIce Fishing JigsSeasonIceStructureOpen Water/BasinMoved back and forth between deeper open water and the deepest weedline we could find. Mixed waxies and soft plastics as jig trailers, if one option seemed to be losing the interest of the fish we'd switch and usually get a few more bites before having to move to the next spot. Used LiveScope in forward facing mode to track schools and then used down mode to allow the two of us to fish next to each other off of one graph.

Largemouth BassTechniqueGrass JigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureDocksWe had a club tournament on North/South Center and the weather and patterns were all over the place. Early in the week the water temperature was 70+ degrees and we thought some fish were already off beds. Then the air temperature dropped to the low 40s on Fridayand cooled the water to 60 degrees. By Sunday, the water temperature had climbed back to 65 degrees and we found that fish were sliding back up to shallow cover in tight to sand, docks, cattails, etc. All of my fish were caught on a 3/8oz steath feider with a zoom ultra speed vibe craw and most were caught skipping docks.

Largemouth BassTechniqueShallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6')SeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureReedsFish are setting up on points to big bays in south center. I have located them using a small crank (Wart) air that runs 5-8 on the points leading into the shallow spawning bays. I have had some luck with larger sunfish style swim baits as well.
