Went south of the lake and was trying to punch and frog the pads for Bass but could not get much of that going. Trolled the boat around and saw a pad to cat tail transition and tossed my white terminator swim jig. Upon the first few cranks, i was able to catch a hog!

TechniqueNeko RigsSeasonSummerStructureRock PileNorth and South have been fishing tough, they have been beaten on by tournament pressure. I found that I had to slow down and work areas thoroughly. I had some success throwing a neko rig in the rocks. Look for areas where weeds are close by the rock, or the rock runs into the weeds. I didn't catch a ton of fish, but the ones I caught were good ones.

TechniqueShakey HeadsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationFished a Greenhorn Bass Tour tournament this past Sunday, and focused on grass lines in 8-12 feet of water. Got most of our bites fishing slow with finesse techniques like drop shots, shaky heads, and jig worms. Also, caught a few decent fish off docks early in the morning skipping docks with a jig. A couple of the top teams caught their fish flipping/punching pads.
