Some fish hit it when paused a few seconds after it hit the water, while others preferred a steady retrieve. Rod was an ALX Promise 7' in medium heavy paired with a 13 fishing inception sport Z casting reel.

Largemouth were cruising around lily pads mats in shallow water. A steady retrieve of a Booyah toad runner jr across the vegetation got a good amount of blowups.
