Using a straight retrieve, this guy hammered it with a hookset in the top of the mouth. There was no doubt this guy was going to fight all the way to the bank. So much fun!

Casting out and just letting her fall to the bottom, I began dancing the worm along the bottom. Making sure to just let it pulse and slowly inching over the rocks, this bass just couldn't resist. When he hit it, he hammered it. Today was all about taking my time and slow, deliberate moves.

With temps in the lower 90s, I let that bait sink down to the bottom. With a slow twitching retrieve, I hopped it a couple of times, and this dude smoked it.

I used a 1/10 Ned head and let it sink. Upon swimming it back with a little twitch, I killed it a few times. This guy hammered it! The temps were high, but this guy was still hungry.

The heat was hot, and the sun was bright. Let the Ned sink deep with a lot of pauses. The bite was light, and the hook set was hard. This fish actually hit pretty close to the bank.

It was about 90 degrees and hot as all get out. I had a neko/wacky rig setup and just fished it slow with a lot of pausing.
