Largemouth BassTechniqueHard JerkbaitsSeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationUtilizing my forward facing sonar I targeted fish around submergent vegetation with a jerkbait. I would follow up with a wacky rigged Zoom worm when the fish wouldn't commit to the jerkbait.

Largemouth BassTechniqueLipless CrankbaitsSeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureLily PadsI was fishing pre spawn fish around vegetation. I used a lipless crankbait with a yo-yo style retrieve to trigger bites. I had to switch to a faster action rod because the fish would eat the bait on the fall. I found both gold patterns in the Storm Arashi Vibe to be key in getting larger fish to bite.

Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureLily PadsI fished the man made canals looking for clumps of pads. I would pitch my Bang Stickz into the base of the stems and all the hard cover surrounding.

Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureLily PadsI was blind fishing spawners on lilypad stems in canals along sea walls. I would pitch to small patches of pads with a Man Bang Sticks. Not a lot of bites but the right ones.

Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureDocksI chose docks as the structure even though technically fishing the middle of the canals and in between the docks has been producing better. The Stealth Blade has been better with all the pressure.

Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Pitch/Flip)SeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureRiver ChannelsWith the consistent weather recently, the big females are pushing into the canals. Spent the day flipping a texas rigged Missile Baits D Bomb. Key is to slow down and anticipate where you think the fish are bedded because often times I couldn't see the fish. I would flip to where I thought the fish were bedded. Another key, use a smaller weight than you normally would to create less of a disturbance in the water.

Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureRiver ChannelsI use zoom magnum Texas ridged a lot. I like fishing the pads, grass Matt's, docks, and anything that looks like a bass would be sitting waiting to ambush
