Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Pitch/Flip)SeasonWinterStructureFlooded BrushFlipping the newly grown vegetation from the summertime lake draw down is holding numbers of fish as well as spawning fish. Pegged, 1/2 oz is just enough to get through the grass. Lift and drop 2-4 times then re flip. Black and blue is my go to color.

Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonWinterStructureSubmerged VegetationFished a tournament on Headwaters yesterday (1/8/22). Water temp 67-69, sunny, warm, wind out of the East 10-15. I did well out on the flats using the Green Pumpkin Jackhammer pulling it through the hydrilla. Later in the day I fished just south of the East/West canal and fished the spot remover Jackhammer around the reeds, looking for areas where the baitfish would be push and funneled through by the wind.
