Pitching Zoom speed craws around trees and hydrill was fair today. It's been hot and the bite is slow. We caught five or six fish in the morning up until 11:30. Then the bite quit and it was getting hot.

I started out throwing a frog sound and on grass mats. Bites were few and far between for me today. They are eating the frog though, just not many for me today. I switched over to my spook and started catching them. I was throwing around standing timber from the bank to about 10’ of water. The grass edges end in about 15 to 20 feet of water. Biggest and most came on a spook.
