I used the shallow diving crankbaits and wake baits to cover a lot of shallow gravel flats, with deep water nearby, to catch susquehanna smallmouths up to 20" 4lbs.

Bad weather has water pretty high and dirty. Manged to get a few small ones today. Water a little swift so made long casts up river and let current help on retrieval. Slow retrieve, touching every single rock that was there. Targeting small eddies of the current.
