Best bass lake in the cities. Make sure you put your kayak or whatever you can on it. Launch over by courage center across the street at the tiny park or on the other side of the lake which is harder at Aldine Park. Best spot on the lake is back right corner dock , last dock next to brown wood house. They either have a pontoon or ski boat around. You could wade fish using the park on that side too but Best area by far is the side covered in Lilli pads in that back right corner opposite side of the lake from the launch. The launch has an illegal chain on it don't worry about the chain stuff walk around it, it's a public lake and launch, I've been fishing it 40 years.

First day back on the water and it was a good one!! Me and the hunny got on a nice bass bite fishing ned rigs around weed lines, with good size and numbers!! Key to getting bites was dragging the bait rather than hops along the bottom.

Fished this lake on 7/21/22 in the morning. Focused on docks and weedline in 3-8ft of water. The outside edge of lilly pads was also good. Caught 8 bass, broke off on one good one. Pike bit me off twice.
