TechniqueShallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6')SeasonFallStructureLily PadsI love this lake. I have fished it for over 30 years and it still produces large fish, a true hidden gem in mpls. Bring a kayak to get on it. Largemouth are in shallow water eating baitfish. Slow moving shallow crankbaits proove effective as well as tubes and worms off grassy ledges.

TechniqueTubesSeasonFallStructureLily PadsGreat lake to fish. The public ramp doesn't allow trailers so make sure you canoe it or kayak without a trailer. Also make sure the homeowners that boat on the lake actually see you. A couple have not paid attention and have been very reckless in how close they get.

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Pitch/Flip)SeasonSummerStructureLily PadsBest bass lake in the cities. Make sure you put your kayak or whatever you can on it. Launch over by courage center across the street at the tiny park or on the other side of the lake which is harder at Aldine Park. Best spot on the lake is back right corner dock , last dock next to brown wood house. They either have a pontoon or ski boat around. You could wade fish using the park on that side too but Best area by far is the side covered in Lilli pads in that back right corner opposite side of the lake from the launch. The launch has an illegal chain on it don't worry about the chain stuff walk around it, it's a public lake and launch, I've been fishing it 40 years.
