Found flats to deeper water close by and with current pushing into it from channel swings was the ticket. Heavier grass produced large mouth and rockier areas was some nice smallmouth. Didn’t get tones of bites in one spot but would reload where we found bites. On the rockier areas a square bill crank got a couple bites too, but also got some northers nailing it too.

Worming and jigs in deeper weed clumps found fish. Not a lot of bites, but size was good. Channel swings seemed to be a factor as well.
