Great place to get a group of buddies or the family together for a day of running to flags waving in the wind. Line your tip ups hooked with sucker minnows just to the West of the boat landing and along the shoreline of the bordering road.

I did NOT catch any fish or even get a bite in 2 hours. Thole is a shallow lake with a max depth of 10-12', and this year it seems to be down a foot or two from last year. The number of weeds varies from year to year, and I'm posting this report to let you know the WHOLE lake has thick, emergent weeds to the surface. It is awful. Unless you know how to handle the situation on this specific lake, I'd go elsewhere.

High pressure day for the lake. Very active before we arrived and after we left. Weeds are already moving in quick and the lily pads are spreading high. Did not see much activity in deeper areas. We had the best luck closer to the shallows along the weed line and lily pads. Wife hit a few jerking the Super Fluke while I shortened my drop shot leader to about 6-8” and looked at the transitions towards the deeper area.
