TechniqueFrogs/ToadsSeasonSummerStructureLily PadsWent out for a derby on Tippy Lake. First 3 hours it was raining so a Berkley Choppo worked pretty good for a while on flats close to canals. Once that morning bite died, off I backed out to fish break lines and points. Caught about 30 bass with a dropshot and a jig. Biggest fish of the day came on a Berkley Swamp Lord in the pads.

TechniqueGrass JigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationDeep jig bite was on fire today. Sunny skies, low 80's with alot of recreational boats churning the water around. Found 15+ 2lb bass in 10'-20' stroking on deep grass, a Beast Coast jig. Chose a jig with blue because bluegills were just on beds the past two weeks and it was obvious they couldn't say no to a lil magnum paired up with a flipping delight.
