It was a very cold morning but finally warmed up. We caught 8 bass and over 15 pickerel. The bait that did best for bigger bass was the megabass spark shad throwing it in the wind blown coves around the old lily pad stems. Our other best bait was a Texas rigged yum dinger black n blue senko and a rabid baits craw Texas rigged. It was a super fun day overall. A lot of fish were caught. My girlfriend and I went to tobyhannah April 23rd to do some bass fishing. We caught plenty of fish. 8 largemouth bass over 12" and 20+ pickerel. We caught them on Texas rigged yum dingers, rabid baits craw, and the best bait for bass was the mega draft spark shad in 4" white color on a gamakastu g finesse hook. Biggest bass was 18.25" and over 3 pounds. Water temp was 43 degrees to start and ended with 50 degrees.
