Good steady bite on the frog as well as the spinnerbait. I just alternated between the two and caught some decent fish, all keepers, in nice numbers. They were chasing shad in the eel grass that was submerged.

The lucky rabbits foot showed up. This morning having several pour downs of rain at times. The bite fired up. Managed to catch several green fish (Dinks).. using zoom flukes is 4 feet of water. Fishing heavy covered grass matt’s. Rite at 15#’s in just three fish.

Everyone has their on technique of fishing a fluke. But todays was not twitching it back. But mostly swimming it back slow in retrieve and letting it fall in holes/open spots in the matt. Then it was game on. Set tha hook till you get tied. Lol.

Wind blew pretty hard most of the day and if you got out in it on wind-blown points, you could catch some quality fish. The picture is my partner's 5 lb fish. We won team and I came in 4th individually. We threw whopper ploppers all day reeled very slowly. All fish came in 2-3' of water around grass.
