Wind-blown points ripping the traps through the outside edge of the hydrilla. It was a very windy day. I caught about 20 fish. They were eating the traps very well.

We had a few break-offs and it hurt as it was a very slow bite. We believe the south end of Toledo, where we fished turned over this past week, causing the fish to scatter and the bite to get very tough. Should be better next weekend.

Had a little fun on the bend this afternoon. Last trip out of the Summer. Fishing off deep ledges with the old 8xD strike king. Pulling out several limits. On a slow roll retrieve. Now its time to transition over to the fall bite. Looking forward to sharing the upcoming fall adventures with friends and family. (LET’S GO FISHING)
