TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationRig your Senko weightless and be sure to make the rig to where the top part of the hook is concealed in the Senko so it does not hang up in the grass. Fish were all on the inside edge of the hay grass and hydrilla. Dead stick it once you get to the inside edge of the grass. If the perch are not driving you crazy you are in the wrong spot.

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationLocated some decent fish in the 3' range up in the hay grass. You could occasionaly catch them on a frog but the weightless senko was the reliable producer for the day. You had to dead stick it.

TechniqueNeko RigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationSlow day but wacky worm seemed to provide the most consistent bite in watermelon red with a light nail weight on a weedless hook. Throwing around the grass was key. The hydrilla is coming back strong on TB. Very easy to find.

TechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationCaught a lot of small fish on a wacky rigged Senko in a creek channel with scattered hydrilla. The Mastiff fluoro performed very well. The Curado DC is amazing to fish with. The wind was blowing and throwing that light wacky rig into the wind was a key. That DC adjusts automatically and is truly the best reel I have ever owned. I now have 2 and am looking to buy more. Worth every penny.
