TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationRig your Senko weightless and be sure to make the rig to where the top part of the hook is concealed in the Senko so it does not hang up in the grass. Fish were all on the inside edge of the hay grass and hydrilla. Dead stick it once you get to the inside edge of the grass. If the perch are not driving you crazy you are in the wrong spot.

TechniqueShakey HeadsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationBlue bird skies and 90 water temps made for a tough bite. All my better fish came on a shakey head with a 5" Yamamoto Kut tail in green pumpkin black flake. The key for me was having the Curado DC, which allowed me to throw a very light rig easily. I used to have to fish this with a spinning reel, but now that I have the DC's, you can throw just about anything, whether it be light or heavy, windy or dead. That DC is the absolute best reel I have ever owned. Highly recommend one, if you have not tried one yet. Sorry for no fish picture, but these 2 trees were so pretty I had to use them. Get outdoors and fish.

TechniqueNeko RigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationSlow day but wacky worm seemed to provide the most consistent bite in watermelon red with a light nail weight on a weedless hook. Throwing around the grass was key. The hydrilla is coming back strong on TB. Very easy to find.
