Not sure how you feel about catching the males as they are protecting the young ones. All fish were released as soon as they were caught. The key is to look for the fry. Once spotted cast past them and reel into them. Keep bait out of your sight . Will have to make a few cast around fry ball to find the guarding male. Once you find them you have one shot. The follow up bait I used was the Zoom Fluke. Fun times.

Top Water bite is definitely on. If you fish Tongue you know when to hit it! Work the brush and get ready for that blow up we love. Shot for either evening or early morning. Can’t believe I’m giving up the secrets to unlock this lake . You got to experience it and I want everyone to enjoy.
