The lake has a tons of weeds all over the lake that comes up about 1-2 from the bottom. Finding a weedline or rocky areas were key in finding the smallmouth! drag the Juvy craw slowly and add an occasional pop to get their attention. Keeping the rod tip high helps with getting over rocks and reduces the chance of getting hung up. Tightlines!

Bass are up shallow (1-4ft) as well at the midrange (10-18ft). lots of areas are covered in weed beds, in this case, lengthen your dropshot leader from the hook to the weight to keep the bait above the grass. Slowly drag with an occasional hop to get their attention. The Jerkbait and mid-strollling is a great method to draw them out of the grass or get fish to come off the bottom. Up shallow, cover as much of the shoreline with the Chatterbait Evo with a moderate-fast retrieve. This lead to my winning fish and I shouldve been doing it sooner. Dont for get to target transitions as well as rocky points. Tight Lines!
