The two side arms are stained water, thick with vegetation. And then, right in the middle of all that is the main body, ringed with spectacular homes, private docks and manicured lawns. So I spent most of my time on the main inlet, using a Zoom Plum Trick Worm on a Texas rig. Whenever I'm hitting a lake for the first time, I start with finesse fishing and mix in some hard baits to see what the fish are liking. Caught some smallies and some spots, and generally had a great day. That plum trick work works everywhere. I can't recommend it enough for what seems like a sure thing every time I break it out.

Long cast and get it down. Then a super slow retrieve. They are crushing it. Look for bait balls on the screen.

Try to target the very edge of the weed line. Hitting it on the fall or as soon as it hit bottom and first drag.
