It’s late summer, so pay attention to the thermocline. Lots of algae in the lake and I could sense the fall turnover is coming. Caught my best fish offshore dragging/popping a big football jig on channel ledges.

Fish were kind of scattered all over the place. The best bite I could find was fishing brush piles in 8-12’. I’d have to make at least 15 casts on the shakeyhead into the same pile before one would commit.
