TechniqueSpinnerbaitsSeasonSummerStructureLaydownsGot a lot of bites of two duck blinds in 3-4 feet of water on incoming tide. Literally caught 8 bass off the cover of one dock within about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, it did not reload when we tried it again a few hours later. These were mostly keeper, but small fish. Better fish came off logs/laydowns in shallow water. Spinnerbait worked well for me and others. Speedworm worked around grass edge near low tides worked well for small keeper bass. No photo of my fish. My buddy's photo is used.

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureLily PadsFished the Chickahominy River out of Rivers Rest Resort on the two hottest days of the Summer. The heat index on Friday, July 28th, reached 116 degrees! But, the bass were biting. Heavy largemouth were hard to find, but I managed to catch a 10lb limit anchored by a 3lb, 9oz beauty. I used a variety of baits, but my most successful technique was using 5" Yum Dingers in lily pads.
