It was the same dock as the other one, but at the other end, the long way. This one was a little bigger than the other one at 3 pounds and fought very well. Caught this one fishing around another fry ball. The Coppertreuse was doing me well that trip, but I ended up snagging on a branch and snapping off after I changed my location.

I was at the kayak launch at Beaver Creek with a friend, I launched my drop shot rig to the opposite bank and started twitching it back. First cast, I caught this beautiful fish after a fight that almost snapped my rod (the fish swam under and around the dock), it fought like a 7 pounder, but it ended up being closer to 3.5 pounds. I ended up snapping off the next cast. It's a good thing I was about to leave anyway.
