Panfish / BluegillTechniqueIce Fishing JigsSeasonIceStructureOpen Water/BasinTime of outing was 7:30 AM to 2 PM. Caught over 100 bluegills, all at or over 8 inches. They were completely schooled up and did not have to hole-hop. Sat on the same spot and they were just completely stacked. Catching these fish in 15 feet of water but marked fish from 12-18 feet. Used a Vexilar flx-12 to find fish. Using multiple different colors of the clam snow, and clam CPT Dave Genz series drop jigs tipped with a wax worm. A buddy and I caught our limit in the first hour we were there and stayed and absolutely slammed them. Definitely recommend getting out there if you have the chance!

Largemouth BassTechniqueSwim JigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationFishing a swimjig over the top of already topping out vegetation. Weeds are already up in wasserman and water was warmer than anywhere else I've seen. Caught em on a straight retrieve and shaking it during the retrieve. Looks to be in the spawn still, tons of fish up shallow

Largemouth BassTechniqueFrogs/ToadsSeasonFallStructureLily PadsCaught a ton of fish the other night on a frog. Water was still 60 degrees which was crazy. So I picked the calmest and warmest parts of the lake and threw a frog and they were coming unglued on it. Some of the best topwater bites of had all year!
- Species
Largemouth BassTechniqueDrop ShotSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationThe curly leaf pondweed is thick and to the surface out to 14' which forces the fish to the deep weedline. Caught them on a dropshot and a chatterbait worked slow and deep.

Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureLedgesHooked up on a number of decent largies and pike on the weed lines into deeper water. Drop offs from 8-12 ft were the ticket using a chatterbait or a dark sleeper. Frog bite was also working in the early evening walking a popping frog in the milfoil mats and lilypads.
- Species
Largemouth BassTechniqueDrop ShotSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationCurly leaf is thick to 15 feet. Fished the outside edge and pockets in the weeds to scratch out 13 LMB to 17" with a drop shot and paddle tail swimbait.
- Species
Largemouth BassTechniqueWacky RigsSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationFish are shallow. Very willing to eat a wacky rig in 2-3 feet of water around the submerged milfoil
- Species
Largemouth BassTechniqueTubesSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationTried shallow with topwaters and senkos early with no bites but then found fish on the 6 foot weedline with a jig and craw tube.
