Bite for me is getting tough. I feel like most of the offshore schools are in transition to their fall locations. Water temperatures have dropped considerably. What I did catch were on transition area docks or bass that were on bait balls in creeks.

If you can find some current after a rain the morning topwater bite is really good on points near the main channel with weeds nearby. Look for wolfpacks feeding on the surface. Overcast skies will extend the bite and then back off to weed edges nearby as sun appears with chatterbait or your favorite plastic worm.
